Intellectual Property Violations (IPV)

We work with reputable private investigators that conduct market surveys to identify the counterfeiters that unlawfully sell infringing products. Once the infringer has been identified, the IP owner has the option to file a criminal, civil, or administrative case against the infringer for infringement and/or unfair competition.

In support of filing an infringement and/or unfair competition action against the counterfeiter, our lawyers can also assist in applying for a search warrant application for the seizure and destruction of counterfeit products. After a search warrant has been issued by the court, we coordinate with law enforcement agencies, such as the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and Philippine National Police (PNP), and assist them in their search and seizure operations.
